TergesteSoft has been around since the early days of the Commodore 64 computer (and THAT
goes a while back...). It started as Trieste Software, then changed to Tergeste Software and it finally evolved to TergesteSoft.
Originally it produced software for the CBM64, but when it switched to the PC, it
concentrated mainly on database programming and specialised on the dBase database (the 'industrial strength' database that can
make you cry). This was a natural progression from the CBM64 programming days as, towards the end, most of the work done was
producing databases for small businesses using the SuperBase program. One day, the firm that TergesteSoft was working
for at the time came up with the idea of setting up a website. This is when TergesteSoft discovered the 'Net and pretty soon it was a case of "Goodbye dBase, hello Web".
Since then, it has been busy setting up and maintaining web and intranet sites and has become proficient in all aspects of design, programming and maintenance on the Web. TergesteSoft is also active in teaching and helping other people to make their own
web pages and to become proficient on the PC. Any enquiries are welcomed!
